"Dreams are today's answers to tomorrow's questions." - Edgar Cayce
Happy Tuesday, friends! Short post today because I am on my lunch break. However, I am trying to have content up here more often so that means writing whenever I have a chance! This is me being proactive towards a dream I have; making a living from writing.
I hope everyone is having a great week so far. I know I sure am. Amidst all my work, studying and general busyness, I am feeling very at peace these days. I am at peace because for the first time in a long time, I have a vision for my future.
Now, I am all for living in the present moment and not worrying about the past or future and what not, but realistically speaking, one should always be at least somewhat prepared for what's to come. Or at least have an idea of what you want.
That's where this quote comes in to play. Dream your dreams today and tomorrow will be figured out. Knowing what your dreams are means you have a solid path to walk on and though you may not know the exact destination, you'll at least have a direction. A dream or goal for the long term will help set your actions of tomorrow in motion towards something meaningful to you, rather than wandering aimlessly through your days. If you feel you've been in a rut in life and are in need of a change, the first step towards that can begin with a dream.
So, I will leave you with a final thought before I return to my day job: Having a dream is essentially creating a perfectly paved walkway for your life. And like pavement, if you decide you don't like its placement you can always remodel and pave a new way.
What are your dreams and how have they or will they help you in future endeavors? Comment below!
