"Love your soul." - Yogi Tea

Hi world!  Hope you're all having a great day/week/month/year! Life is good, even when it's bad. Never forget that.

So, my latest obsession has been with Yogi tea! Not only do I love the tea itself - SO yum - but I just love the fun perk of gaining a bit of motivation or positive pick-me-ups every time I drink it. And since, of course, I love me some motivation and positivi-tea (lol), I decided to share my Yogi "Teaspirations" with my blog world.....

Okay, okay, I'm done with the tea word play. Let's look at what my Yogi tea had to say recently; "Love your soul." Three words. Three little words, yet so full of meaning.

The word soul, by definition according to thefreedictionary.com, is "the animating and vital principle in humans, credited with the faculties of thought, action, and emotion and often conceived as an immaterial entity."

So basically, your soul runs you. It is you, it is your thoughts, feelings, it's what makes you more than just a human. Everything that you are, all of your essence, is in your soul. It is the non-physical part of you. So you gotta love it. Or at least, you should. And if you don't, you should do some soul-searching, because it will do you more harm than good to not love your soul.

I feel that in order to be genuinely happy, you have to love yourself. But really, really love yourself and who you are deep down. Love the parts of you that only you know. Your mind is a table for one, it's a place where no one else can hear you. So make sure you enjoy that little voice in your head. As the definition explains, your actions, thoughts and emotions are all a part of what make up your soul. So imagine this: if you are constantly trying to go against your inner natural instincts and feelings, you will always be unhappy because you will be in constant turmoil with yourself - which ultimately makes you your own worst enemy. Learn to accept yourself and trust in your soul. People may have similar opinions, ways of doing things, etc., but your soul is your own and unlike any other soul.  You may have a soul mate, but that's an entirely different conversation in itself, and that is just a companion, or addition, to your soul. Your soul always remains unique to you.

The moral of the story here, friends, is that you have to love your soul. Love that you have great taste in music, love your personality, love your sense of humor, love your feelings, love your attitude, love the way your mind works, and just love yourself entirely. You deserve your own love first and foremost. Enjoy your soul, and you will enjoy not only life, but everyone and everything in it.

And if you don't already drink this stuff, you should give it a try (assuming, of course, that you like tea). Yogi tea is tasty and has some really great wisdom, or at least some geniuses in their marketing department. Quite clever, little inspirational Yogi tea!

Until next time...
