Stripped to the waist, we fall into the river...

“Learn what is to be taken seriously and laugh at the rest.” - Hermann Hesse

Hello bloglandia. Quickie post today. I have gone missing for a little while, but I assure you all I have not been uninspired. Time is just a funny little thing that likes to consume one's life, and lately I have not had much of it.

I am embarking on a road trip adventure with two of my dearest friends tomorrow. We are going from Miami (my lovely city) to Burnsville, NC. This will be my first long road trip, and my first time in North Carolina, and in a mountain scenery in general. To say I am excited is an understatement. I am looking so forward to this trip. It will be a much needed escape from reality, and I know I will be in the best of company.

So, to continue with my theme of analyzing quotes, I will say that I chose the above quote for this post because that is how I feel about my upcoming trip. I feel carefree and easy going. I feel this little trip is going to be very cathartic for my soul. In life, you must realize that, although yes some things are important and should be taken seriously, you mustn't forget to stop and laugh often. Life is beautiful and laughter is a way of expressing happiness.

Love much, laugh often, worry not at all. ♥
